One of the things we hear most often from our clients is that they’re nervous about how much a hearing aid(s) is going to cost. For some, this can even deter them from visiting an audiologist because they fear the price of not just the hearing aid, but also the visit.
While hearing aids can be pricey, there are numerous options for any budget. And, with technology improvements, though lower cost hearing aids may not have some of the “bells and whistles” of others, they will still improve your hearing and your overall quality of life.
Our Approach to Finding the Right Hearing Aid for You
At Hearcare, we are focused on the individual and don’t believe in one-size-fits-all when it comes to hearing aids. Upon meeting, after getting to know you a little better, we always begin with a free hearing evaluation to determine the type and severity of your hearing loss. After the assessment is complete, we discuss the results with you so that you understand what they mean and how they will affect you long-term.
If the evaluation determines that a hearing aid is needed, we will review your hearing aid options and give you our recommendations, taking into account your lifestyle and your budget. In addition, if you do get fitted for a hearing aid, we work with you on-going to make sure the selected hearing aid(s) are working for you.
Don’t Let the Cost of Hearing Aids Scare You
If you are concerned about your hearing (see a list of symptoms of hearing loss), don’t let the cost of hearing aids deter you from the possibility of a better lifestyle. Our hearing assessments are complimentary and we will talk with you about our findings, what it means for you, and our recommendations. If you do decide to invest in a hearing aid, we will work with you to find the type that works best for you and your budget.
